Humility for Life

Life was playing in the garden of happiness. It was taking swings and making merry with his friend Hope. After a while Pride entered the garden with his friend Arrogance. It threw Life out of the garden because he thought Life has no right to play there. It belonged to Pride. Every thing in the garden began to fade away.

Life sat crying outside the garden when Hope held its hand and took him to Humility. Humility welcomed Life with a big smile and taught Life the art of tolerance, selflessness and forgiveness. Life grew in self confidence and self belief with the passage of time.

After a few days, Life had a chance to confront Pride again. Life stood its ground with great confidence and self esteem and a smile on its face. Pride couldn’t resist for long and had to retreat this time while Life entered the garden with Hope and Humility.
