I love how you always find the right balance between harsh reality and uncompromising optimism, that’s just inspiring!
I, too, need to imbibe that quality. ☺️
Every one has got that it’s just about time that you recognise this and put it into practice. I am sometimes too depressed that I don’t even recognise myself but then my kids they just inspire me to go on to be good because I have to set example for them. So I try to do what I want my kids to do in their life and be good, good human being. It doesn’t matter how much you study and have a very resounding person the important thing is to be a good human being.
I just wanted to share a poem with you that I wrote way back in January 2018 (had to find it, phew) As you said Haroon, our loved ones become the cure to our pain, most often than not. 😊 You’re awesome!
Realization –
Citing his criticism as a “no” was my first mistake.
Lost the count of his innumerable advices
And, the sacrifices that he made.
Took the wrong turn a hundred times ;
Always to find him there,
With solutions in hand.
Shielded by his shadow;
Thinking of it as a prison,
That was my mistake.
Caught up with every possible burden,
He still chose to put everything at stake ;
Disrespecting his love for me,
That was my mistake.
All his life
He chose to face flaks on my behalf,
For my mistakes ;
I couldn’t understand him before,
That was a daughter’s mistake.
You always have time to make up for your mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes as you have heard . To err is human and to forgive is divine and parents can’t remain angry with their kids they just can’t I know because I have kids too. We always have time to make amends . Such a beautiful poem. Your parents will be proud of such a wonderful and talented daughter. Never lose hope keep on trying.
😊I felt comfortable sharing with you, I knew that you’d understand.
Thank you, Haroon. I will make them proud one day, and I equally want to make you proud too.
Beautiful 🌹 🌹
