  1. Freedom of expression, with some reasonable restrictions, contributes to the growth of a democracy, and whole other nerdy stuff.

Just like men wonder “where to draw the line” at workplace to avoid sexual harassment charges, government doesn’t seem to understand “reasonable restrictions” completely. (It’s the era of Far-Right)

Moreover, all liberals see is “vague and infringing random restrictions” and all conservatives see is.. God knows, what they see! Their opinions seem incomprehensible to me.

Abusing the right to freedom of speech and expression is rampant worldwide today but again, nobody can really tell if it is being abused or not, except for the government who can slap sedition charges or, put its citizens under preventive detention for the same. (Deliberately avoiding the question of Judiciary here)

If I exploited my right to freedom of expression in the above random and vague worded nonsense, then indeed it is an exploitation.

  2. I think it may be both …it’s up the person or the people who express and use it..according to how they think..their culture..their religion..their civilisation..their manners..history..etc..

  3. It’s a mixture of everything. How a person has taken this word in his /her life is way more important. One should know the true value of freedom than nothing would go wrong in every aspect. 😊
