Marriage

Marriage is a very prestigious institution. It is a very strong pillar of a society. It is the strongest and at the same time the most delicate bond. It demands a lot of love, care, tolerance, perseverance and sacrifice. It runs on the principles of mutual respect and understanding. It allows two people to grow together helping and complementing each other. Two people accept to live together sharing all the happiness and adversities. They admire and value each other’s abilities and make up for their deficiencies. Some times we have to make compromises to keep it going.

Marriage is a journey full of new adventures and unexpected situations. The ability to understand and handle these situations with great care and act according to the situations keep it successful. We should also forgive and respect each other. We should be able to handle anger. So it is in our hands to make a marriage successful or unsuccessful. And I think we should make all the efforts to keep it going to set an example for our children and build a strong community where everyone respects each other and is ready to make sacrifices and help each other towards a common goal that is to built a society where peace prevails and everyone lives happily.

  2. Marriage is such a foreign concept to me since I am not in one.

But I do agree, the foundation of every good relationship is forgiveness and respect.

Without the other, everything will crumble down. We forgive one another because of the deep rooted respect we have for that person. And The only way to continue to hold respect for a person despite their flaws is through forgiveness. So the two is always intertwined with each other.

I enjoyed this post very much. Made me think a lot. Great post!
